CRCC Secures Five Major Awards at the 50th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva
Date: 2025-04-23

The 50th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva, the world's oldest and largest premier technology event, was held in Switzerland from April 9-13. CRCC delivered an outstanding performance, achieving a "grand slam" by winning five prestigious awards, including a Special Grand Prize, a Gold Medal, a Silver Medal and two Bronze Medals.—setting a new company record for both quantity and prestige of awards.

The company's "Intelligent Connected Unmanned Mining Transport Vehicle" captured both the Special Grand Prize and a Gold Medal. This breakthrough project seamlessly integrates AI, big data, and cloud computing to create a comprehensive technological ecosystem encompassing automatic mapping, intelligent dispatching, perception and decision-making, autonomous navigation, precision control, and automated loading/unloading operations. This innovation has dramatically enhanced mining transportation safety and cost-efficiency, driving the industry's transition toward unmanned, intelligent, and environmentally friendly operations. The technology has already been successfully deployed in several landmark projects, including the world's first 5000-meter-high plateau autonomous mining project at Yulong Copper Mine and at China's largest lead-zinc deposit at Xinjiang Huoshaoyun Mine, with unmanned vehicles safely traveling more than 100,000 kilometers to date.

CRCC's "Automatic Precision Adjustment System for Swivel Continuous Beams" earned a Silver Medal for addressing critical challenges in complex bridge construction scenarios, particularly those involving large spans and unbalanced rotation. By combining smart sensors, real-time analytics, and adaptive control algorithms, the system continuously monitors bridge positioning parameters and optimizes adjustment commands, maintaining rotation precision within 5 millimeters—effectively overcoming traditional manual construction limitations that suffered from low efficiency and high safety risks.

Two Bronze Medals were awarded to CRCC's additional innovations. The "Green, Intelligent, and Efficient Engineering Blasting System" leverages Elman neural networks to create an intelligent blasting optimization platform with predictive modeling capabilities for rock separation, significantly improving production efficiency. Meanwhile, the "BIM Information Integration Platform" employs digital twin technology, machine vision, and AI large models to establish a comprehensive digital management system spanning the entire lifecycle of urban rail transit projects.

Looking forward, CRCC remains committed to increasing its R&D investments and enhancing innovation capabilities. The company aims to lead traditional industry transformation while fostering emerging strategic sectors through technological advancement, promoting deeper integration between digital technologies and physical infrastructure, and contributing Chinese expertise to the global infrastructure industry's intelligent transformation and sustainable development.
