On March 28, China Science Fiction Convention 2025 kicked off at Shougang Park in Beijing.CRCC made a striking appearance with its high-speed maglev technology.

CRCC has maintained its position at the forefront of maglev development across multiple projects: from the Shanghai maglev train to those in Changsha and Qingyuan, as well as advanced testing facilities including the Qingdao high-speed maglev test platform, Changchun's high-temperature superconducting maglev test system, and Chengdu's multi-modal transportation network simulation platform. The company's involvement in maglev technology dates back to the 1990s when it began parallel research on both maglev and conventional wheel-rail solutions for the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed corridor.

In recent years, CRCC has led many major research initiatives, securing over 500 patents in maglev technology. The company has mastered the engineering applications necessary for constructing 600 km/h high-speed maglev transportation system, making significant contributions to the development and implementation of high-speed maglev infrastructure.

Projections show that 600 km/h maglev trains could reduce travel time between Beijing and Shanghai to just 2.5 hours and create four-hour connectivity within urban clusters spanning 2,000 kilometers. This maglev technology is expected to enable the National 1-2-3 Travel Circle, fostering coordinated regional economic development through seamless integration with existing high-speed rail and air transportation networks.
